This is the new world i'm trying out this days "paper clay" , and this piece is related to the absurd celebration of the mexican independence and also mexican revolution, below the skeleton who represents "la Catrina" the most famous character created by Guadalupe Posada, in the foreground, there is a cactus with skulls, there are 10 characters of mexican history such as, Benito Juarez, Pakal, Porfirio Diaz, Miguel Hidalgo, Maximiliano and Carlota, and also the famous subcomandante Marcos and a "pope" representing the opresion of the catholic church. (the picture is blur, due to my camera model. the sculpture is rich in color and detail worth to see it in real) The last two pictures, there is a Chac Mool and a Tehuana.
