For over 8 months in this classroom, large groups from the mexican community, Spanish Harlem residents assisted to multiple academic activities such as alphabetization , english and ged programs where i had the chance to be in charge of Social Studies. The program has closed due to financial problems. Today December 12th we are leaving this place, looking for other public schools to keep our mission going, no doubt our latin american communities struggle and desist but there we have lots of reasons to keep going, we have experienced that even major organizations can't handle challenges but, WE STILL MOVING FORWARD... SLOWLY BUT MOVING.
